The two first met in their early and mid-twenties while working within the design industry, where collaboration soon evolved into a shared vision for both business and life. Eventually, they branched out to create their own path—founding Samuel Madeleine, devoted to furniture and art, and Sportova, which designs luxury home and boutique commercial gyms.

Their work is defined by the intersection of craftsmanship and technology, and by the belief that design should be as intelligent as it is beautiful. Samuel brings an abundance of technical, business, and creative expertise. In addition to designing furniture, he is a SaaS developer currently building a software product for the design industry—an intuitive platform that streamlines quoting for designers and home brands alike. As CEO of both Sportova and Samuel Madeleine, he leads their shared mission to build a design ecosystem that integrates emerging technologies, such as AI, to refine every facet of how we create and live within our spaces.

Madeleine is a designer, artist, and photographer who leads Samuel Madeleine as Principal Furniture Designer and Creative Director. Her true passion lies in furniture design—she obsesses over every angle, curve, and detail, pouring her heart and soul into each piece she creates. Her fine art prints, available alongside the furniture collection, reflect her fascination with form, endurance, and restraint—qualities that echo throughout the brand’s aesthetic. She also serves as Brand Director for Sportova, shaping its signature visual language and tone.
